Luxury Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has revealed its new high-end collection of hijabs and abayas.
The line, which premiered on Style.com/Arabia, features neutral colored hijabs and abayas with lace detailing. Some of the hijabs and abayas also feature Dolce & Gabbana’s signature floral prints.

Considering dresses from Dolce & Gabbana’s summer 2016 runway collection range from anywhere between $3,000 to $10,000, the decision to create a luxury hijab line is an interesting one.
Last year, fashion brand Uniqlo delved into the hijab market. Currently, the plain hjiabs offered by Uniqlo have been discounted from RM59.90 to RM19.90 (approximately $13.52 to $4.50) while the printed hijabs are reduced from RM79.90 to RM19.90 (approximately $18.04 to $4.50).
