Only in Florida.

I don't say that simply because this type of bizarre behavior seems to be more common in the Sunshine State, but also because alligators are indigenous to the area.

Twenty four-year-old Joshua James has been taken into custody by U.S. Marshals after driving up to a Wendy's restaurant and hurling a three-and-a-half-foot alligator through the drive-thru window. This happened in October, but only now have charges been brought against, James, who has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession and transportation of an alligator.

Florida Fish and Wildlife officials say that James has admitted to picking the alligator up on the side of the road and throwing it into the restaurant.

Officials say that the alligator was later released into a local canal and was not harmed.
