Can we watch just one major sporting event without the media so desperate to focus on a racial storyline? Apparently not. Super Bowl LVII will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, who were both the top seeds in their respective conferences. Both coaches -- the Chiefs Andy Reid and the Eagles Nick Siriani -- will be playing against a team that at one point in their careers…

The Novak Djokovic revenge tour is complete. The Serbian was crowned champion of the 2023 Australian Open by beating Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5), at Melbourne Park on Sunday night to write the perfect ending to his run at a tournament he was unjustifiably banned from over his vaccination status last year.  To put into perspective how dominant he was in…

On Friday, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) released body cam footage of the arrest of Tyre Nichols, in which five police officers -- all black -- arrested the 29-year-old Memphis native and brutally beat him. This event took place on Jan. 7, and Nichols died of injuries three days later.  The whole situation is heartbreaking, and the cops involved should go to jail for a long time. But this…

This past weekend, the entire New York Rangers team took a page out of Ivan Provorov’s playbook and opted not to wear pride-themed warmups before their Friday night matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Rangers were hosting their seventh annual pride night and were planning on taking the ice with rainbow-colored jerseys and using sticks with rainbow tape on the blades. However, the…

On Wednesday night, the Duquesne Dukes beat the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers 72-58 in a men’s DI basketball matchup. But the final score is not what people are going to remember about this game.  This will forever be dubbed the “Uber Delivery Guy Accidentally Walks Onto The Court While Dropping Off An Order” game. Well, probably not, but that did actually happen. Just minutes after halftime with the…

“Till” is a 2022 film based on the tragic story of Emmet Till, a 15-year-old boy from Chicago who was lynched by racists in Mississippi in 1955. The movie stars Danielle Deadwyler as Till’s mother, Mamie Till-Mobley, and was directed by Chinonye Chukwu.   Surprisingly, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) did not nominate the film for any Oscar awards. I say “surprisingly”…

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy wasn’t supposed to be here. After being taken with the last pick of the 2022 draft, subsequently making him that draft’s “Mr. Irrelevant,” and being told by countless NFL scouts and college coaches that he didn’t have a bright future ahead of him as a football player, Purdy by all counts wasn’t supposed to be the starting quarterback for a team that is…

Novak Djokovic is mowing down his competition at the Australian Open. Earlier today, he routed 5th-seeded Andrey Rublev in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4, in the quarterfinals. Safe to say this man’s revenge tour after being deported last year is going quite well. But as of right now, he would not be able to continue his dominance at two upcoming tournaments in America, the Indian Wells tournament…

Former Denver Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe was especially skilled at tracking and bringing down opposing quarterbacks in his NFL days. In retirement, he’s equally as skilled at hunting down mountain lions.  The Super Bowl 50 champion posted a picture of him holding an 8.5-foot, 200-pound mountain lion, his prize after an arduous hike to kill the creature that had been terrorizing a…

It is no secret that the presence of drag queens and our country’s obsession with exposing young children to them  is one of -- if not the -- most despicable symptoms of our cultural rot. Nevertheless, there are still celebrities that voice their unashamed support of sexual perverts, and who will even make it a relational deal breaker if you disagree with them on this issue. Last week, comedian…
