It’s gotta be on many an observer’s mind. The stark and obvious question: “Do Andrew Cuomo and his political pals in the NY State government want to clear the state of people and their businesses? Because it sure looks like it. According to Benjamin Storrow, of EENews, after last year’s election handed both the NY State Senate and Assembly to Democrats, the mono-party government has raced to…

It reads like a “Hardy Boys” or “Nancy Drew” title… “The Hardy Boys In: The Mystery of The Political-Puppet Teacher”. But in this case, it’s not the Hardy Boys, it’s one boy. And it’s true. As reported by CBN News and others, an unidentified teen male, possibly named “Murray”, and possibly based in the UK, fired-up his phone-cam after being thrown out of class and ordered to sit in another…

The infamous “hippie-tough-guy” hairstylist, who in September of 2018 stupidly, arrogantly, viciously roundhouse-kicked a pro-life demonstrator in Toronto, has been sentenced by a Canadian court to - get this - eight months probation and a 100-meter exclusion zone from pro-life activists. As Steve Ertelt reports for LifeNews: Initially, Hunt was charged with 8 counts of assault and 7 counts of…

Just in time to honor Independence Day, on July 1, a new statute in California will take effect, mandating that anyone attempting to purchase ammunition there must show a government-issued ID and undergo a state “background check” that will be dragged through the federal National Instant Criminal Background Check System. What an unusual sight: contemporary politicians attacking the rights…

The other shoe is dropping on a recent story that got many ethically-minded people quite justifiably angry. Last year, Canton Township, Michigan residents, Gary and Matt Percy were attacked by the government, slammed with an astronomical $450,000 fine for simply cutting trees on their own land. The government told them they couldn’t cut the trees to start a Christmas tree farm because, of course…

The governments of California and many of its cities have made housing so expensive, homeless encampments have become part of the landscape. And what is the Cali Assembly's answer to the problem? They want to mandate that some of the state’s biggest population centers provide giant parking lots and access to bathrooms for many of these unfortunate folks who can’t find affordable homes…

In March, Planned Parenthood Federation of America brought suit against the Trump Administration for shifting what is called “Title X” “welfare” funding from the abortion provider to other medical service providers. And now, PPFA is giving its lawyers more business, suing to, get this, prevent the Trump Administration from allowing health workers to have religious exemptions from…

A few months ago, New Jersey acquired the not-so fine distinction of being the most “fled” state in the Union. And no wonder. It seems as if every few weeks another bizarre authoritarian statute or “regulation” is birthed from its politician and bureaucrats. But now, even people hoping to wash their sorrows in some cold brews can’t escape. Baylen Linnekin reports for Reason that last week, the…

Gosh, Slate’s “Tech” writer, April Glaser, sure seems to have her heart in the right place. Like an adorable, uneducated child, she’s written about the importance of protecting the planet by deplatforming Facebook users whom she calls “hateful." On her somnambulistic, NPR-like podcast, she’s exposed her ignorance of regulatory hurdles when “explaining” why the internet “naturally” didn’t…

Some government actions serve to annoy. Some work to bemuse. Confuse… And some serve to churn up such righteous anger and indignation the power of thunder bellows through the mind, searching for release. This is one of the latter moments. According to WKTV, on Tuesday, May 28, 64-year-old Deerfield, NY, resident Ronald Stolarczyk shot and killed two suspected home invaders, 57-year-old…
