It is with a heavy heart that one reports on the inevitable consequence of collectivism, because, since collectivism is predicated on state violence and threats of it, the outcomes are always, always bad. Case in point: Venezuela, where Breitbart’s Ben Kew notes that desperate citizens were attacked by armed police April 20 when they protested the dire lack of medicine and health care.…

Winter is over, but the snowflakes still swirl and dance across the US. This is particularly noticeable in California, where the lefties at the University of California, Merced (located just east of San Jose and San Francisco, in case you want to visit and see these creatures in their natural habitat) are up in arms over a recent protest by College Republicans. As strange as it might…

Sometimes – well, shoot, most of the time – government acts so slowly, creating so many of its own self-perpetuating customs and rituals, it’s flabbergasting. And a perfect example of this perverse activity has arisen in Massachusetts – an example that not only sheds light on this “make-work” behavior, but also exposes many other malign actions of the American system in general. As Eugene…

The annual “Big Day” is coming, and this doesn’t have anything to do with sports – unless one widens the meaning of "sport" to mean the widespread practice of lying and preying upon people through political means. Nope. This day actually has to do with religion: the religion of the false god of Climate Change that will be heralded on high come Earth Day on April 22. And what better way…

Los Angeles. The wellspring of entertainment. The place where the majority of the world’s visual fantasy is created – well, unless one counts the network news. But regardless, LA is where the action is for folks who want to create tales out of whole cloth, and so one can rest assured that wild ideas will crop up from that checkerboard of roads. But what if there aren’t enough outlandish ideas…

Remember tales of the Medieval Era, when kings and queens lorded over crushed masses and employed goofy court jesters to entertain them at royal feasts? Today, the jesters still do their tricks, but they are also the political masters, and they populate Washington, DC. The newest example of the craziness: on April 12, 12 U.S. Senators, including Her Majesty Elizabeth Warren and His Highness …

The leftists in California are at it again, this time making a legislative move so stunning, so counter to the traditions of the state, one might be tempted to call it farce. But, as Breitbart and Jon Rappaport observe, it’s far from it. A bill introduced by hard-left California Sen. Richard Pan would mandate that any social media or blog site “with a physical presence” in the state will…

Fifteen year-old Anthony Borges, a victim of the shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School, in Parkland, Florida, who was shot five times while saving twenty people, was the final victim released from the hospital on Friday, April 6th. And he had a message for the Superintendent Robert Runcie and left-wing Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel: You both failed us. Of course, a quick…

In what many traditionalists could see as another sign of the End-of-Days, the 60-year run of the Derbyshire Constabulary Male Choir is ending – because the all-male choir won’t accept females. Sure, it’s kind of like a green grocer trying to sell oranges for lemons, but this is the political world. Things might not seem so clear-cut to social justice warriors whose knickers get in bunches upon…

One of the most dangerous, paternalistic, fascistic, and intrusive practices of the federal government is being rolled back by President Trump. Big news, but not worth gushing praise, since the immorality of the government claiming the power to engage in this behavior has not been questioned in any way. On Monday, April 2, EPA Director Scott Pruitt announced in a press release that his…
