President Trump and the GOP majority in the House and Senate just joined their leftist colleagues to insult our intelligence, assault the Constitution, and perpetuate a horde of economic mistakes by passing the 2018 Omnibus Budget. This $1.3 trillion, deficit and pork-laden monstrosity was 2,232 pages long, and was given to Congress just 1,000 minutes before the vote. For those in Nancy Pelosi’s…

There’s nothing like bald-faced, super-nova-level hypocrisy to convince others you believe in a cause. And that level of hypocrisy was on rare display March 24 as numerous celebrities and big-wigs helped fund, and/or marched in, the anti-gun “March for Life” across the U.S. What’s wrong with celebs backing laws to punish civilians for privately exercising their right to keep and bear arms? Well…

Folks who comment about rights and political-economics in various countries are often told something they already know: Great Britain does not have a First Amendment to stop government from trampling on the right of free speech. And while this is true, and well known, it should not be used as a tool to excuse, condone, or in any way mitigate what is happening in the United Kingdom right now:…

Yes, this is how absurd the tax-funded school system has become. Kindergarteners are being wrangled into participating in, or brought outside to “watch,” the protests over “gun violence.” As Reclaim Connecticut reports, WINY Radio recently posted a Facebook video revealing a kindergarten class walking by a high school anti-gun protest at Killingly High, in Dayville, Connecticut. The video…

In the wake of shocking accusations leveled at California residents Louise and David Turpin that they tortured their thirteen children, some California and Maryland politicians are doing what they do best: proposing new egregious invasions of privacy and breaches of the U.S. Constitution as ways to fix what the state already neglected to police. And the targets, of course, are homeschoolers. In…

In the 1990s, author F. Paul Wilson wrote a novella entitled, “Aryans and Absinthe.”  It's a horror tale set in 1923 Weimar Germany. And the “monster” in the tale is one of the most unusual, and most realistic, forces of destruction and chaos in literature. It's also something pertinent to today’s headlines. As the protagonist, Karl Stehr, soaks in the avant-garde vibe of one of Berlin’s…

Until recently, Many California leftists claimed that their Great Leader, Democrat Governor Jerry Brown, had created a surplus for his loving people. Perhaps they felt it was a way to show conservative Republicans that a government could be known as a leftie stronghold while balancing budgets. There’s just one problem with this, something that was revealed last year by Hans Bader, of CNS…

The turkey thermometer just popped on the state of New Hampshire, and Americans can finally fess up to the tough truth that has been evident for many years. It’s reputation as the “Live Free or Die” state founded on bedrock granite principles of individual liberty and honoring one’s neighbor to exist free of meddling is done -- big time. The state legislature just passed a “genderless bathroom”…

There’s no better way to make your college look classy than by allowing students to bully and shout down a woman who’s been invited to speak at your law school. And that’s precisely what just happened at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where libertarian-leaning conservative Christina Hoff Sommers was verbally abused and interrupted by a group of protesters as she tried to speak…

Remember when Democrat California Senator Dianne Feinstein made a fool of herself five years ago in D.C. trying to pontificate about firearms, even as she appeared to break multiple firearms laws in the process? Remember when she pushed a bill in 2014 that would have allowed the government to put innocent people on what she called the “Gun Violence Prevention Order” list, simply by someone…
