While the left is busy trying to spin the killing of a black man at the hands of five black police officers into a tale of white supremacy and targeted racism, another story that’s conveniently slipped through the media cracks tells a different story - this time of justice completely unserved, and at the hands of a white judge.

After being accused and convicted of sexually assaulting two little girls ages 4 and 9, Mohamed Bakari Shei, a 20-year-old black man from Rochester, Minnesota, was given only 176 days in a local county jail and 200 hours of community service for his crimes.

District Judge Jacob Allen said Shei must also spend the next 30 years on supervised probation, generally allowed to freely come and go as he pleases, after he pled guilty to repeatedly raping a 9-year-old girl back in 2018 before raping another girl around 4 or 5 years old in 2021.

With good behavior, the county prosecutor said, Shei could ultimately end up serving about 116 days in jail, and could even see his record cleared later on down the road thanks to the judge's stay of adjudication. The arrangement was all supposedly part of a plea deal to keep Shei from challenging his trial as an adult, considering he was a 16-year-old teenager when he raped the little girls.

For short, we'll just call it a miscarriage of justice - and a vile one, at that.
