The White House announced this morning that Hope Hicks will serve as interim communications director

Hicks, who was formerly the Director of Strategic Communications, will take over the position after Anthony "the Mooch" Scaramucci's infamous 10-day stint as comms director. The position has been notoriously difficult to fill, with many influential people reportedly turning it down.

With Hicks temporarily taking the helm, the Trump administration will look for its third comms director since the President took office in January.

Hicks rose to the top of the Trump campaign, and then the White House, after holding a communications job in Trump Tower. Before that, Hicks was a model for Ivanka Trump's fashion line. The 28-year old was recently named one of Forbes magazine's "30 under 30" influential people in law and policy

The media have been weirdly obsessed with Hicks because of her meteoric rise to prominence in the White House and former modeling career. Of course, some of this comes from the fact that Hick's is a total political outsider. But, unfortunately for the Left's weird narrative about the appearances of the women in the White House, Hicks is not a blonde.
