Abortion-Loving Democrats Weep Over Violent Murderer's Execution

Democrats are openly weeping – no, literally – after the death of Brandon Bernard, a black man who was executed Thursday after being convicted of brutally torturing and murdering a Texas couple in 1999.

Bernard, who was 40 at the time of his death, was convicted at just 18 years old, making him the youngest person in 70 years to be executed. Here’s why: in ’99, Bernard and five other gang members were convicted of robbing, abducting and murdering Todd and Stacie Bagley, both white youth ministers. The Bagleys were kidnapped and locked in a car trunk before one of Bernard’s accomplices, Christopher Vialva, shot them both in the head, killing Todd and knocking Stacie unconscious. The pair were doused in gasoline before Bernard set the car on fire. It’s presumed that Stacie died of smoke inhalation.

Vialva was executed in September.

But now, Democrats are taking to social media to express their emotion over Bernard’s death, weeping over the execution and again accusing the government of discriminately targeting black men for capital punishment.

Now, this isn’t a commentary on the ethics of the death penalty. There are plenty of valid arguments on both sides. Perhaps Bernard was a reformed man who deeply regretted his actions as a young adult. I desperately hope that's true.

But it’s a bit ironic that Democrats, who are perfectly fine with dismembering living babies and sucking out their brains if they’re unwanted or disabled, are openly mourning over the death of a man who willfully tortured and murdered an innocent couple in cold blood.

Or, perhaps it’s not so ironic, after all.

Perhaps evil just sympathizes with evil.
