‘Trump is evil!’ In fact, President Donald Trump is so evil that his administration has seen unemployment rates decrease across the board during his term. How dare the job market improve like that under that “racist!” All jokes aside, another segment of the U.S. population is being employed at record levels.

Much like the black and hispanic unemployment rates, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is reporting that unemployment among U.S. veterans is at its lowest point since the year before the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

According to the Military Times:

For the first time ever, the unemployment rate for the latest generation of veterans dropped below 4 percent in 2018, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The 3.8-percent annual unemployment rate for 2018 continues a seven-year trend of declines since 2011, when post-9/11 veteran unemployment peaked at 12.1 percent – more than triple the 2018 rate.

For veterans of all generations, the unemployment rate was similarly low, dropping to 3.5 percent from 3.7 percent last year.

The decline of the veteran unemployment follows the record low unemployment numbers for the black and hispanic communities, falling to 5.9 percent (May 2018) and 4.6 percent (June 2018), respectively.

As Fox Business reported, the national unemployment rate for “all workers” reached 3.9 percent in December, up from the lowest percentage “in about 50 years” (3.7 percent).

The only people that seem to not be working are lawmakers having fun in the sun.
