I absolutely never thought I’d agree with a man who professed his love for a Socialist dictator. But I agree with at least one thing he's said.

Actor Sean Penn sat down with NBC’s Natalie Morales to talk about his new Hulu show, “The First.” However, the interview took a turn when the topic of the #MeToo movement was broached. Penn spoke about how the movement has become “salacious” and divisive.

“Well, we don't know what's a fact in many of the cases,” Penn told Morales. “Salacious is as soon as you call something a movement that is really a series of many individual accusers, victims, accusations, some of which are unfounded.”

Penn is most likely referring to the growing notion that women who come forward with allegations against a man should be automatically believed, regardless of the evidence -- or lack thereof.

Then, Penn said something that I personally believe about any movement that has been hijacked by modern feminists.

“The spirit of much of what has been the #MeToo movement is to divide men and women,” Penn said.

A-freakin-men! It’s not just the #MeToo movement that is meant to “divide men and women.” Pretty much any modern feminist movement that involves the supposed lack of rights they're always preaching to the rest of us about is meant to deepen the ever-growing divide between the sexes.

“Women would say it's uniting women,” Morales responded in disagreement with Penn.

Thank you, Natalie. You just proved Penn’s point with your answer!

Penn concluded his #MeToo comments with a similar sentiment to the one that forced comedy legend Norm Macdonald to apologize.

“I think it's too black and white,” Penn said. “In most things that are very important, it's really good to just slow down.”

When you slow down, you get more of the facts about a particular case and subsequently don’t jump to the conclusion that all women are to be believed.
