“These are the violent stormtroopers, Nancy Pelosi,” conservative commentator and constitutional scholar Mark Levin tweeted to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) Monday following Sunday’s violent disruption at a pro-police event in Colorado.

Michelle Malkin claims she and her colleagues were assaulted by members of Black Lives Matter (BLM) wielding collapsible batons while she was livestreaming from the event, producing video she shared on social media (Things start getting really out of hand around 28:30) , The American Thinker reports:

Conservative author and activist Michelle Malkin was brutally assaulted and prevented from speaking as she made her way to the speaker’s platform at a pro-police public rally in downtown Denver on Sunday. The patriotic event, the 6th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day billed as “family friendly,” was advertised in advance on social media including at Malkin’s Twitter, where she has 2.2 million followers...

Malkin was live streaming the event from her cell phone on Periscope Sunday afternoon as the situation deteriorated after masked thugs wearing Black Lives Matter t-shirts stormed the stage and then set upon Malkin.

Pelosi’s “long silence” about violence at the hands of BLM and Antifa “stormtroopers” exposes her as a “disgusting tyrant,” Levin tweeted to the House speaker on Monday:

“These are the violent stormtroopers, Nancy Pelosi.  BLM and Antifa.  And your long silence about their violence, while trashing law enforcement and endorsing America-hating anti-Semites like Omar, exposes you as the disgusting tyrant that you are.”

In a follow-up post, Levin called it “appalling” that the Denver police didn’t come to the aid of Malkin and her colleagues:

“And it’s appalling the Denver police didn’t protect those gathered to support them from these violent thugs, regardless of any orders from local politicians.”
