Alabama State Rep. John Rogers (D) took his stance on abortion further on Thursday when he was notified Donald Trump, Jr. condemned his extreme comments concerning the life-ending procedure.

“That’s an honor,” Rogers told WVTM. “If Donald Trump, Jr. did that, thank God! Right on! That lets me know I’m right, cause I don’t know nothing he been right on since he’s been here.”

“Him being born, that proves the right to be… that’s a very very good defense I have for abortion right there, him!” he continued. “A woman should have aborted him when he was born, he wouldn’t have made that stupid statement, right?”

Rogers has continued to step in it this week and his newfound “fame” all started after he remarked on the abortion ban the Republican-controlled House in his state approved.

“Some kids are unwanted, so you kill them now or you kill them later,” he said. “You bring them in the world unwanted, unloved, you send them to the electric chair. So, you kill them now or you kill them later.”

The supposed pro-life Catholic’s support for ending the lives of the innocent and those with deformities is evident. During the abortion ban hearing he spoke negatively on children who were born “retarded” and “half deformed.”

Rogers used that same mindset to further insult Trump, Jr.

“They [Trump, Jr.'s parents] made a decision to have him, they could have aborted him, but they made a decision to keep him,” he said. “He’s evidently retarded, or crazy. I knew there was something wrong with that boy, I look at him and tell something wrong with him.”

“That’s the best defense I got for abortion right there, looking at him.”
