Shortly after the United States carried out a classified precision strike on Iranian nuclear targets this past weekend, Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) did what any serious leader would do – she went live on Instagram.

“I have still not gotten any type of briefing, just so y’all know,” Crockett complained while broadcasting to her millions of followers. “But ya know, whatever.”

If anything, this proves exactly why some people aren’t looped in on classified information.

Before launching a top-secret mission, our military and intelligence officials are focused on one thing: keeping it top secret, not making sure Crockett feels included.

And by the way, under Article II, Section II of the Constitution, the president isn’t required to get prior congressional approval for military actions like this one. So why is the left suddenly outraged when Trump exercises the same authority that previous presidents have?

Maybe it’s time Crockett learns what "classified” actually means before livestreaming another rant.
