New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez took a short hiatus from stomping around the Supreme Court shouting into other people’s megaphones in defense of the non-existent right to infanticide to call for the impeachment of SCOTUS justices who struck down Roe v. Wade.

Speaking on Sunday morning’s Meet the Press, AOC claimed that SCOTUS justices Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, and Neil Gorsuch should be impeached for supposedly lying to Congress.

"I believe lying under oath is an impeachable offense and violating federal law and not disclosing income from political organizations as Clarence Thomas did years ago is also potentially an impeachable offense,” AOC told NBC's Chuck Todd.

The New York Democratic socialist is referring to what is apparently a parallel universe in which Kavanaugh, Barrett and Gorsuch promised to protect Roe v. Wade – which, of course, never happened, but whatever.

At worst, the justices could be accused of refusing to say whether they would strike down the nearly 50-year-old ruling, an understandable move considering their job is to, you know, actually hear and consider arguments in a case before making a decision. (Declining to say whether one would rule in favor of or against a particular issue is also a move employed by left-leaning justices, most recently Ketanji Brown Jackson - but she's liberal, so she doesn't count.)

“If we allow Supreme Court nominees to lie under oath and secure lifetime appointments to the highest court of the land and then issue — without basis, if you read these opinions — rulings that deeply undermine the human civil rights of the majority of Americans, we must see that through,” she added. “There must be consequences for such a deeply destabilizing action and the hostile takeover of our democratic institutions.”

Translation: this diverse Supreme Court correctly ruled against a blatantly errant 1973 decision handed down by nine white men, and the left can’t stand it.
