AOC Complains About Having 66 Taxpayer-Funded Health Insurance Choices: 'No One Should Go Through This'

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went from complaining about Americans not having any access to insurance to complaining that she has more than five dozen options for coverage through her taxpayer-subsidized health insurance plan.

“Members of Congress also have to buy their plans off the exchange. They are Gold plans that are partially subsidized,” AOC began on Twitter. “That means I get to ‘choose’ [between] 66 complex financial products. This is absurd. No person should go without healthcare, &no one should go through this, either.”

After whining about having an abundance of offered plans to have to choose from, AOC then complained about the days when she didn’t have any health insurance at all.“While I am VERY thankful to finally have health insurance, it is a moral outrage that it took me *getting elected to Congress* for that to happen,” she went on. “The US needs to become an advanced society. That includes establishing healthcare as a right to all people.”

But as elitist and out-of-touch it may be to complain about having dozens of choices paid for by other people, this is typical socialist speak, is it not? Socialists don’t want “choices.” And they don’t want you to have them, either. No options made possible by a capitalist system that forces competition for your hard-earned dollars. No selections tailor-made to your needs or what you might be willing to pay for. No tiers to work toward or enjoy once you’ve reached them. None of that.

Just a single, one-size-fits-all non-option that doesn’t care about meeting your needs, the timeline of your medical care or…well, really having much to do with you, at all. Just get in line, comrade.

But perhaps the worst part about AOC’s socialist utopia? There probably aren’t going to be 66 choices in the bread line. Hope you all like stale baguette.
