Is America full of masochists or do large portions of the populace not realize they’re repeatedly insulted by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?
Clearly, her petroleum jelly-like grasp on the Constitution and human rights is so slippery as to be non-existent, but AOC seems to go the proverbial extra mile in not just being wrong on economics and ethics, she exhibits an almost preternatural power to gift-wrap her nonsense within steaming piles of ripened anti-American insults.
Evidently attempting to increase her blockheaded invective quotient, Alexandria appeared on the sleep-inducing sonic-waterbed “Pod Save America” to delve into such potently enlightening subjects as her views on immigration, so-called Anthropogenic Climate Change and economics. And – finger-in-the-socket-shocker! – AOC claims they are all dependent on one major problem in the US.
Racism.
Ocasio-Cortez not only seems to believe that man is making the Earth boil such that people are fleeing newly created desert locales to arrive in Europe and the US, she thinks that unless people open their eyes to the problem, the flight will become a flood.
Climate change, alone, is going to drive hundreds of thousands of people to be changing and migrating across the world… People are going to be forced to migrate, people are already migrating because places where they once lived are no longer livable.
AOC doesn’t mention the fact that so-called “Anthropogenic Climate Change” increasingly is being recognized as an insupportable theory not backed up by real science or data. And, of course, the host doesn’t challenge her on it.
The host also seems quite comfy with AOC overlooking the fact that the major refugee problem across the Atlantic, the one many pop media chat-boxes call a “European Migrant Crisis” is a Libyan and Syrian refugee crisis caused my military conflict in the region – military conflict that had absolutely nothing to do with the environment unless one wants to consider bombed-out homes and farms and water systems a man-made environmental catastrophe. Not only are the migrants not European, they’re not fleeing their desert homes because the places are becoming "new" deserts. Their families have lived there for generations – until the places got to play host to regime change and civil war.
And, of course, as AOC depicts it, Donald Trump’s position on Climate Change is connected to his position on immigration, and those are both driven by his racism. In horrific brush strokes AOC offers on her rhetorical canvas, Trump will not only let the foreigners suffer by not imposing massive taxes and job-aborting regulations on businesses and consumers, but he will prevent them from entering the US to escape the vast desert wastes their homes will become.
"…He’s peddling a zero-sum vision of the world,” she claims. Yet she is the one who supports collectivism, the idea that the wealth of the world is static and must be forcibly redistributed and controlled by the government in order to make things equal.
As my father, Paul, used to say, the only equality collectivism creates is the equal sharing of misery for the vast majority of those forced to live under it and its political elite.
How is this triad of problems to be fixed? How in the world can the world be saved from Trump’s racism?
By forcing anyone who supports him or does not support the leftist agenda to see that, really, deep-down, they’re all racist.
We need white people right now, to do the work…
Yes! Indeed! Please insult those people whom you think need to “fix themselves” and their inability to see their own inherent racism.
And if they don’t do it themselves?
Something one cannot take lightly: Through the socialist, postmodernist, cultural-Marxist power of the state, AOC will “fix” them.
So, there are a lot of people that support Trump that genuinely don’t believe that they are racist because we do not talk about or educate people on recognizing racism. And because we do not do that… we get caught in this debate of ‘is something racist?’
No need to equivocate. Those who reject the collectivization of society must be cured of some kind of racist disease; they are malfunctioning, “broken”, and can’t realize it.
It’s time for the AOC crew to establish an “intervention”, and, much like Big Brother did to Winston Smith in Orwell’s “1984”, cure us of our affliction.
We need to talk about racism, its contours, its histories, where it manifests, how it’s used.
Yes, the “contours” of racism. With such a colorfully, amorphous postmodernist lingua, how could she be questioned?
Forget about liberty, the US Constitution, or respect for one’s neighbor; American’s who support freedom and free market economics, are inherently racist. In fact, Ocasio-Cortez made sure to observe:
Then people use their defensiveness, and they say, ‘Well, it’s not racist because I’m not racist and I believe this thing because it’s economic in nature.'
No way to get around it. Economics. Private property. Retention of the fruits of one’s labor. You might believe that these things are just part of human nature, part of the axiomatic characteristics of supply and demand. You might think you’re not racist. But you’re wrong. Your ideas are racist in nature, and you are just too blind to see.
It’s time you learn, America. Sure, most of you endured twelve years of the government-run indoctrination centers your families’ taxes were expropriated to support. Sure the system has already beaten into the heads of many contemporary US kids that people alive today who have never been racist are inherently racist. But that’s not enough. You need to support the policies of AOC and other collectivist overlords, or you have not been cured.
