Another attention-seeking celebrity is changing their pronouns and their “gender identity” in what is, of course, not at all a totally self-serving attempt to stay relevant in today’s increasingly “woke” world.

In this case, we have Demi Lovato. Now, this would be the same Demi Lovato (who’s a singer, by the way, in case you didn’t know or even care) who recently made headlines for siccing her large social media following on a poor little women-owned frozen yogurt store because they dared to put low-fat and other “diet” items in their display case, an otherwise innocuous move that triggered Lovato into an all-out conniption fit because she’s personally struggled with an eating disorder. Before that, she snagged a few moments of social media attention by chopping off all her hair in what she claimed was a rebellious move against Southern feminine beauty expectations.

That 15 minutes having since passed, Lovato is now back in the “news” for announcing she has officially come out as “non-binary” and will be identifying as “they/them” from here on out.

“Today is a day I'm so happy to share more of my life with you all- I am proud to let you know that I identify as non-binary & will officially be changing my pronouns to they/them moving forward,” Lovato said on Twitter, after posting a video in which she waxed philosophic about “living in the fourth dimension” and “doing some healing and self-reflecting work” that has allowed her to come to terms with her “gender fluidity and self-expression.”

Which would all be as irrelevant as it is stupid, if not for the fact that society, social media, news outlets and the entire progressive lynch mob is now going to start observing this demand as legit and using plural pronouns to refer to a clearly female woman with a penchant for wild publicity stunts, thereby dumbing down society even further and dragging us ever lower with it.
