A judge has denied an emergency motion that polls in Maricopa County, Arizona be extended until 10 p.m. MST

The Republican National Committee had joined GOP Arizona state candidates in a lawsuit Tuesday demanding that voting hours in Maricopa County be extended in light of voting delays and voting machine issues.

Some locations had long lines after issues with the tabulation machines.

The opposite is happening at polls in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, which encompasses the city of Wilkes-Barre. Polling places there will stay open until 10 p.m. ET tonight, per an order from county judge.

Attorneys petitioning for the extension of time cited a paper shortage at polling locations that required the use of emergency and provisional ballots, resulting in delays.
