If you listen really closely, you can almost hear the sound of our tax dollars going up in crackling flames.
I say almost, as the sound is just barely drowned out by the cacophony of our enemies laughing like hyenas.
In a new video circulating on social media that seems pretty legit, a transgender individual - who by all accounts appears to be a dude trying his best to cosplay as a woman - waxes poetic about how grateful he is to be serving in the U.S. military at a time when taxpayers have to foot the bill for his gender-bending surgeries.
"Not a day goes by that I am not grateful to be serving at this period of time. Being able to undergo a full gender transition beyond hormones - laser hair removal, botox, lip injections, hair lowering - like, literally...cannot be more thankful to be alive now," the Air Force uniform-clad man says, while laid back on what appears to be a chair in a medical facility with his whiskered face slathered in what looks like shaving cream.

Beneath the video, which was posted by an account under the name "Chrissy," is the caption, "I really couldnt [sic] imagine having to outright pay for everything," along with a crying face emoji.
According to the official TRICARE website outlining what the military's fenderally-funded health care benefits do and do not cover, the plan does include hormone therapy and counseling for gender confusion among Active Duty service members, but "generally doesn't cover surgery for the treatment of gender dysphoria."

"However," the site continues, "active duty service members may request a waiver for medically necessary gender affirming surgery," with "necessary" being defined as "appropriate, reasonable, and adequate for your condition."
And, per a new order put in place by the Biden administration a week after President Joe Biden took office in 2021, Active Duty service members can receive treatments for gender dysphoria up to and including an unnamed number of surgeries if it's deemed necessary - i.e., if a doctor signs off on it. Since 2020, the Department of Defense has reportedly spent more than $26 million on treatments - ranging from hormone therapy to surgical procedures - on troops diagnosed with gender dysphoria, including nearly $8 million spent on surgeries.
Under the Biden administration, the number of Active Duty service members treated for gender dysphoria more than doubled from 1,800 to 3,700.
Cha-ching.
