Rep. Jamal Bowman, who is still somehow a congressman despite being an absolute lunatic, took a break from pulling fire alarms to stop official congressional business to rant about how plans to boycott the next Star Wars franchise installment if the lead Jedi is anything other than a black man.

Because, as we have learned, it’s always about race for these whackos.

“If the lead Jedi is not a Black man I ain’t messing with yall,” Bowman tweeted, along with a retweet of a post announcing a new ‘STAR WARS’ trilogy currently in the works.

“Yall not about to make 12 Star Wars and have all white leads for all 12. Y’all wilding with that and I hate to say that I would not watch and will spend the rest of my days denouncing this franchise that I have loved forever. The new Jedi order better be multicultural with a Black super powerful lead. We ain’t playing yall!” Bowman rambled on.

When someone pointed out that Mace Windu, played by black actor Samuel L. Jackson, was a prominently featured Jedi character and one of the fictional order’s highest-ranking members throughout multiple films and books, Bowman responded, “Nah man. Lead. Protagonist. Story build around them. That’s it.”
