One thief in Florida found out the hard way that older folks don’t always make easier victims.
According to police, a 66-year-old resident, who isn’t named in reports, heard a noise outside his house last Thursday night and took a peek out the window, only to see a man trying to break into his car. Not having that, the victim called the cops before going outside to confront the thief, who promptly threw the man to the ground and kicked him in the head.
And it seems that was about the last time this criminal had the upper hand.
When police showed up, they said they found the older man beating the snot out of the would-be carjacker, later identified as 29-year-old Blake Robinson.

“Deputies arrived on scene and were able to quickly detain Robinson, who was seemingly having a tough time getting up off of the ground, after getting his butt whipped by a 66-year-old man,” Sheriff Wayne Ivey wrote in a press release. “That’s right Mr. Tough Guy, Robinson, got manhandled by a 66-year-old man who thankfully only required brief medical treatment and was left without any serious injuries.”
Robinson was treated for injuries at the scene before being booked in jail on a $30,000 bond.
