Texas Gov. Greg Abbott just epically trolled Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, responding with class - and no short amount of hilarity - to her mocking him as “Governor Hot Wheels” in a speech earlier this week.
“Gotta add this to my resume. Need the outfit. They see me rollin,’” Abbott tweeted Thursday, reposting a meme with an image of him in an X-men-style superhero suit and giving off some serious Professor Xavier vibes.

Crockett, who is vying hard for the title of America’s most obnoxious and classless congress member, lobbed the insult earlier this week during a speech at a Human Rights Campaign event, where she mocked Abbott for using a wheelchair.
“We in these hot ass Texas streets, honey,” Crockett said, in her now-trademark…uh…urban vernacular. “Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there. Come on now! And the only thing hot about him is that he’s a hot ass mess, honey.”
Jasmine Crockett continues to embarrass herself, the state of Texas, and the US Congress by referring to Governor Greg Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels.” Gov. Abbott was paralyzed at the age of 26 when an oak tree fell and crushed his spine while jogging.

While Abbott has taken the whole thing in stride, fellow GOP leaders haven’t been quite so quick to show mercy, instead moving to censure the Texas lawmaker for what some have called “the latest in a continued series of inappropriate comments expressed by the representative from Texas.”
Abbott was left paralyzed at the age of 26 when an oak tree fell on him while he was out for a jog, crushing his spine and rendering him wheelchair-bound for the rest of his life.
It looks like even sitting down, he’s still a far bigger person than Jasmine Crockett.
