The National Anthem was redeemed by country music singer Cody Johnson at the MLB All-Star game Tuesday, one night after fellow country artist Ingrid Andress butchered her rendition at the Home Run Derby.

Thankfully Johnson, who had to be feeling the pressure following Andress' highly publicized flub, hit every note square on the head with a heavy dose of country twang, marking a stark difference from his predecessor's garbled, screeching attempt.

After going viral for what many have already dubbed the worst National Anthem rendition in history, Andress apologized in a post on Instagram, admitting she was drunk during the performance and saying she’s checked herself into rehab.

We sincerely hope she gets the help she needs. In the meantime, I'll put Johnson's version on repeat.
