Don’t worry, everyone - Kamala Harris says illegal aliens don’t commit crimes.
Except, of course, when they do…which, as it turns out, is a lot.
In today’s chapter of Who Wants to Be a Criminal Alien Victim, an illegal alien from Brazil has been arrested in Martha’s Vineyard and charged with raping a child, just months after being let out of prison.
Where he was being incarcerated for strangling someone, by the way.
Warley Neto, 24, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Martha’s Vineyard on August 23 after being indicted on five counts of raping a Massachusetts minor and five counts of enticing a minor under the age of 16, the New York Post reports.
Neto had come into the U.S. illegally near Paso Del Norte, Texas, in March of 2018 and was released into the country with a notice to appear in court at some point in the future. It's not clear whether he ever showed up. He was later arrested in February of 2023 by Martha’s Vineyard police and charged with, among other things, strangulation, assault and battery on a family or household member, and threat to commit a crime.

The Post reports Neto was found guilty on those charges in June of last year and was given a year in prison, but was released after just 90 days after the bulk of his sentence was suspended. Just months later, ICE says he raped the underage victim. He was arrested and detained at Dukes County Jail in January, but was transferred into ICE custody in late August thanks to an immigration detainer lodged against him.
The swanky Massachusetts community of Martha’s Vineyard is home to some of the country’s wealthiest, including former President Barack Obama and ABC’s Diane Sawyer. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis famously flew in a planeload of illegal aliens and dumped them at the local airport in 2022 to force attention to the Biden/Harris administration’s open border policies and the deluge of illegal immigration they’ve created.
