The leftwing media are not your friends. In fact, not only do they hate you, they aren’t shy about admitting exactly who their real friends are, and are happy to gush over them live on air while still pretending to be “objective” journalists.
Katie Phang, ex-host of the now-canceled Katie Phang Show on MSNBC, blew enough hot air up Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett’s rear end Friday to force tears from Crockett’s eyes, thanking her for making it her “brand” to defend "democracy.”
“That was you and I three years ago. That was your first time on the Katie Phang Show, and this is the second-to-the-last episode of the show,”” Phang recalled following a throw-back clip from 2022 of Crockett's first interview on the show, like a schoolgirl passing around a yearbook the day before graduation.
Phang’s show, which has run on MSNBC since 2022, was recently canceled thanks to lackluster ratings on the struggling network, which also axed Joy Reid’s less-than-popular program as part of an outlet-wide shakeup to try and bring back viewers. (I wouldn't hold my breath.)

Oh, but Phang wasn’t done proving to everyone just one last time why her show couldn’t hack it in the world of broadcast journalism.
“Congresswoman, I just want to thank you for always getting up early and delivering it, but also for your continuing support for democracy. It’s definitely something you have made your brand, and it’s the integrity that you’re bring, and I”m grateful for you, always,” Phang told Crockett, who had just wrapped up their interview by calling Donald Trump more dangerous criminal than a violent MS-13 gang member.
To which Crockett clogged up so hard she could barely speak, finally croaking out, “We’ll miss you” and wiping away tears while Phang started in on her own emotional breakdown.
MSNBC “News,” ladies and gentlemen.
And if that’s journalism, I’m the Queen of England.
