It’s September 10, 2024. The Biden/Harris administration’s border is still open. Thousands of unvetted illegal aliens are still streaming in by the droves. And the bodies that some leave behind are still piling up.
Another illegal alien has just been arrested for the murder of a 25-year-old woman in Tennessee. Dayren Lopez Roque, a 41-year-old man from Cuba, has been charged in the death of Dayana Garcia after police were called to execute a search warrant in connection with a missing person. Investigators said they found her dead in her Cleveland home, but declined to give details on how exactly she died.
Roque had fled the state and was later arrested at a Family Dollar in south Texas.
Ali Bradley, an investigative reporter with NewsNation, posted to X that sources had confirmed Lopez was in the country illegally after having crossed the border using the Biden/Harris administration’s CBPOne app in San Ysidro, California in August of 2023. The app, launched in 2022, allows illegal aliens in Mexico to “check in” via their smartphone before crossing into the United States as they otherwise would have. The administration then processes them similar to other illegal aliens, but doesn’t tally them among the other unlawful border crossers.

Lopez was released and scheduled for an immigration hearing in November.
In February, just a few months after coming into the country, Bradley reports that Lopez was arrested for domestic violence. However, because he wasn’t convicted, no immigration detainer was filed against him.
And now Garcia is dead, Lopez is behind bars, taxpayer cash has been spent, and the Biden/Harris border turnstile continues to turn.
