If you’re a parent in California, it’s time to pull your kids out of public school. Quit your day job, work from home, whatever you have to do - it’s time.
Shocking video from a San Bernardino-area middle school classroom - so we’re talking about 13- and 14-year-olds, here - shows a snickering male student dragging a much smaller female student by her hair as his fellow classmates look on, jeering and laughing as the girl gets tossed around like a sack of potatoes. In the clip, the boy can be seen pushing the young woman’s face across a desk like a rag while grinning at the other kids.
Then, after several moments of pushing and pulling, the young woman manages to grab a laptop and swing it at the young man’s head. She misses, and he immediately slams her head-first into a desk, knocking her out cold and landing her unconscious on the floor.

What’s even more shocking than the video itself is that there was reportedly a substitute teacher in the classroom at the time, who did nothing for the entire minute-long altercation. The adult also did not intervene after the young lady was knocked out.

It’s not entirely clear what started the fight, which took place at Jehue Middle School in Colton. Now, outraged parents are demanding answers.
"It just escalated, the substitute teacher did not bother," Elena Tapia, a parent of a Jehue student, told local reporters.
Police are now investigating the incident, and have released a statement saying some witnesses said the young woman hit the boy in the head with a metal object before he grabbed her. They also confirmed that a teacher was in the room at the time, saying they have collected “a statement from the teacher, who was present, and multiple other witnesses.”
The male student has been cited for assault with a deadly weapon, while the girl was cited for battery on school grounds, Fox LA reports.
