The Minnesota "girls" softball team featuring a biological boy as its star pitcher has gone on to win the Minnesota Girls’ State Softball Championship, marking yet another male dominating women's sports and absolutely obliterating the girls who had no fair way to compete against him.

"Marissa" Rothenberger - a dude - pitched seven shutout innings to lead Champlin Park High School to a 6-0 win Friday in Tim Walz's home state. In case you haven't seen, this is what Rothenberger's pitch looks like:

Rothenberger pitched 21 consecutive innings without allowing a single run.

Prior to winning the state championship, Champlin Park beat White Bear Lake 3-2 on Wednesday in the semifinals. The team was down 0-2 at one point, but soared to victory after Rothenberger, a junior, went 2-3 at the plate to lead the team's comeback.

And his coach is ecstatic, caring far more about his team's ill-gotten victory than about the girls who were unfairly pitted against the dude he's relying on.

“She’s always clutch,” Champlin Park coach Bryan Woodley told Twin Cities Pioneer Press Wednesday after his team clinched the semi-finals. “I think she’s the best centerfielder in the state. She’s just a great all-around player.”

Probably because "she's" a dude playing against girls who don't stand a chance.

Now let's throw him in a varsity baseball game and see how he fares.
