Welcome to American Pravda.

No no - not the Pravda the leftwing nutbag media was screaming about under the Trump administration, while they were lifting up every rug they could find searching for Russians who may’ve been “colluding” with Donald Trump (hint: they didn’t find any). This would be the Banana Republic world of the Bidenistas, who has not only been sending reporters scripted lists of questions to pull from for interviews with the president, but who has reportedly been demanding media outlets alter said interviews after the fact at the request of the Biden campaign.

According to Politico - who only began reporting stories like this following Biden’s disastrous debate with Trump late last month, and only after Democrats decided they don’t want an 82-year-old vegetable at the top of their ticket in November, I might add - the Biden campaign called a local Wisconsin-based radio station and asked them to make two edits to a July 3 recording of Biden, prompting the station to cut two segments.

In case you were still wondering whether the media had any interest in journalistic integrity.

Politico reports the sections that were axed included Biden claiming, “I have more Blacks in my administration than any other president, all other presidents combined, and in major positions, cabinet positions.” They also nixed a line in which Biden suggested Trump had called for the hanging of the Central Park 5 in New York City back in the 80’s, when five black and Latino teenagers were wrongfully convicted of raping a woman.

“I don’t know if they even call for their hanging or not, but he — but they said that he was convicted of murder. There isn’t. He won’t even acknowledge that,” Biden said, making little sense.

According to the report, WAUK determined the segments were “non-substantive” when they chopped them.

Civic Media, the company that owns WAUK, said they’ve since “clarified their policy” with their radio teams on journalistic ethics - i.e., not editing interviews at the request of campaigns to try and make a candidate look better.

“Civic Media disagrees with the team’s judgments in the moment, both with respect to the handling of the interview questions and the decision to edit the interview audio,” the network said. “We have taken this opportunity as a new media organization to clarify our internal policies to ensure that everyone in the organization understands the standards we expect for live and pre-recorded interviews, particularly for commentators and other non-news personnel.”

I’ll leave it to you to decide if this story would have seen the light of day if Biden weren’t in the crosshairs of a panicked political party looking to make a swap in time for their national convention - which, frankly, makes you wonder how many other interviews have been selectively edited that we don't know about.
