Not sure what they’re putting in the water out in Kansas, but it’s not good. And one high school has apparently drunk way too much of it.

Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Mo., just crowned its second male student as their Homecoming Queen. And the images from the event are…disturbing, to say the least. Tristan Young, a biologically male student who “identifies” as a girl, beat out four female contenders for the top spot on the Homecoming Court.

Decked out in a sparkly purple gown and silver tiara, the tall, clearly masculine winner posed next to the women he’d trounced, holding a bouquet of flowers and a self-congratulatory smile.

“[T]hank you so much oak park. i am so overwhelmed with love and gratitude, and it is all your doing. i am forever thankful that you have chosen me to be your homecoming queen,” Tristan wrote on Instagram, adding that despite his “very difficult high school journey,” “the support of my friends, family and oak park has helped tremendously.”

I bet having your whole school support your delusion at the expense of actual women probably helps, too. Not that the collateral damage matters.

It’s not the first time Oak Park High School has crowned a dude in place of an actual female student. Back in 2015, the honor went to one Landon Patterson, a male who started calling himself a female just a few months before being honored as Homecoming Queen. He now works as a drag queen under the stage name “Lana Luxx” and posts raunchy pictures on Instagram.
