Can anyone remember the last time Saturday Night Live was actually…you know, funny?

To be honest, I haven’t watched it recently enough to know. But if the clip circulating on social media this morning is any indication, I haven’t been missing much except more gross left-wing idiocy from people intent on playing the same screeching, broken record until we all bleed out through our ears.

The insufferably leftist A-lister Tom Hanks guest-starred on the late-night show this past Saturday where, having learned absolutely nothing from the 2024 election or the past decade of American politics, Hanks played a drawling, Bible-thumping, Trump-voting hick from the backwoods somewhere who loves Jesus, but is so racist he’s afraid to shake a black man’s hand. The skit was part of SNL's 50th anniversary episode, proving that even half a century of practice isn't enough to make liberals funny.

“Speakin’ of church, can I say summin’? If more folks went to church, we wouldn’t be in this mess now,” Hanks drawled from under his jean jacket and bright red MAGA hat, pretending to be a contestant on a gameshow called "Black Jeopardy."

It’s at that moment when Darnell Hayes, the black “host” of the gameshow played by SNL regular Kenan Thompson, agreed, and stepped up to shake Hanks’ hand.

“Oh no, it’s just a handshake - you’re welcome on black Jeopardy anytime,” Thompson quipped as Hanks shied away from his gesture.

“Well thank you, my brother - maybe I’ll start a show for you to come on, and we’ll call it ‘White Jeopardy,’” Hanks answered.

The response in the room? Not even a pin drop.

You know a joke is bad when even the left-wing audience isn't amused.

The skit was a repeat of one the show had tried to pull off back in 2016, when the same characters played by Hanks and Thompson had a similar awkward hand-shake moment, implying Trump voters were racist bigots uncomfortable with touching a black man.

Trump went on to win his first term in office, where he spearheaded criminal justice reform efforts championed by black civil rights leaders, and oversaw record low levels of black unemployment. He then nearly doubled his number of black male voters in the 2024 election (about 3 in 10 Black men under the age of 45 went for Trump, twice as many as had supported him in 2020).

But sure, leftists. Keep calling anyone who doesn't agree with you an inbred, racist moron. See how that works out for you.
