Sometimes, you need to read a serious article with important information that educates you about the goings-on in the world.

Other times, you just need a good belly laugh. If that's where you're at in your life right now, we've got you.

A couple of self-described lesbians tried to jumpstart a car and filmed their efforts to put on TikTok. And while these...er...ladies...managed to not kill themselves in the process, suffice it to say, their endeavor failed on pretty much every level. Except, of course, in its ability to amuse.

The video was posted under an account belonging to one Cassidy Kaschmitter, "she/her" pronouns in bio. And the first step was figuring out where the battery was.

After a few minutes of frantic googling, it was time to pull out the jumper cables, and we were off to the races. (Just not literally, since that would have required getting the car to, you know, start.)

Now, I know from firsthand experience there are plenty of capable women who know how to jump a car. Or change a flat. Or check the oil. But you have to admit, in the day and age of "I don't need no man," it's pretty hilarious to watch two women flounder on the side of the road with a dead vehicle, a half-frozen car manual, and a handful of YouTube videos.

Then again, perhaps we shouldn't expect a couple of lesbians to know which plug goes where.
