The Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency has overseen the cancelation of nearly $200 million NIH contracts in just two days - including nixing plans for a taxpayer-funded, multi-million-dollar Anthony Fauci museum.
“In the past 48 hours, HHS canceled 62 contract [sic] worth $182 million,” DOGE announced Friday, adding, “These contracts were entirely for administrative expenses – none touched any healthcare programs. This included terminating a $168,000 contract for an Anthony Fauci exhibit at the NIH Museum.”

The plan would have added a new section to the NIH’s already-existing museum in honor of the “health expert” who manipulated data and lied to the American public to push mask mandates (which he knew weren't effective), government-forced shutdowns (which he knew weren't effective), and school closures (which he knew were not only ineffective, but detrimental), and who promoted policies that bankrupted American businesses, destroyed families, and irrevocably damaged millions of American schoolchildren.
Because five years later, the last thing we needed was for this little troll to screw us all just a bit more.
