The weird keeps getting weirder, with seemingly no end in sight.

You’ve heard of people trying to switch their gender. You’ve ever heard of people “identifying” as animals, as mythical creatures, and even making up new words to use as “pronouns” (Eir/Em/Emself, anybody?). But have you heard of made-up genders that ebb and flow with…the seasons?

No? That’s probably because that’s not a thing - at least, not except in the minds of the mentally ill and the perpetually attention-seeking, who seem to be in a never-ending quest to come up with something that makes them different or special. Take this woman with badly dyed pink hair and a stud through her lip, for instance, who posted a video online explaining “genderseason,” a so-called “micro-identity” in which a person’s preferred gender changes depending on the time of year.

“Gender season is an individual who explores their gender identity in relation to a season, or all the seasons,” she tries to clarify. “So this might be somebody whose gender expression and identity is linked to one season - for example, winter - or this might be somebody whose gender identity and expression changes depending on the season.”

So now, it's not enough to be a man who believes you're a woman. Now, you can link your "identity" to whether it's sunny and 75 outside, or if the leaves are starting to change color, and force everyone around you to learn a brand new set of made-up pronouns for "winter" you.

May God spare us from these complete fools - though, given our society's new preference for normalizing this insanity, I'm not entirely sure that He should.
