The McDonald’s franchise in Feasterville, Pennsylvania that played host to Donald Trump’s viral campaign event last weekend has found itself on the not-so-friendly end of the leftwing gun in recent days, having already endured a smear campaign by the national news media and threats from unhinged liberals to the point of having to hire armed security to protect their workers and customers from violence.

Now, the business review site Yelp has been forced to shut down the franchise’s page after it was absolutely inundated with angry reviews from looney leftists outraged that a fast food establishment would let a Republican presidential candidate - and Trump, no less - toss a few baskets of fries for some free publicity.

"For Yelp to remain a useful resource to the community, reviews must be based on a genuine, firsthand experience with the business," Noorie Malik, Yelp’s vice president of user operations, told USA Today in a statement.. "Due to the increased public attention we saw after former President Trump visited a McDonald’s in Feasterville, PA on Sunday, Oct. 20, we worked quickly to temporarily disable the posting of content to the page and placed an Unusual Activity Alert on Monday, October 21.”

Malik confirmed that, unsurprisingly, most of the comments spamming up the store’s review page were from people outside the area who’d never actually eaten there, but were simply mad that Trump was allowed to use the location for a campaign event. Roughly 145 reviews, many of them negative, came streaming in before Yelp quickly deactivated the comments.
