A Black Lives Matter speaker encouraged protesters to burn police precincts and show “absolute hate” toward their “oppressors” in a violent tirade Sunday during a protest in Minneapolis over the police shooting death of 22-year-old Amir Locke, who was killed last Wednesday after police executed a no-knock warrant in an apartment.

“Fill your anger fully. Be mad. Be mad! Because your anger is justified,” the young man shouted into a megaphone.

“Build barricades. Burn precincts! Reappropriate everything that they have stolen from you for thousands of generations!” he went on.

“Most of all show love to one another – radical love. And show absolute hate to those who oppress us,” he screamed.

“Power to the looters, power to the rioters!” he ended.

Locke was shot to death within seconds of a Minneapolis police SWAT team breaching the Bolero Flats apartment, which they had entered with a key. Reports state that police were there to execute a search warrant related to a police homicide case. Locke, who police later confirmed wasn’t named in the original warrant, was reportedly sleeping on a couch and reached for a handgun, which his family has claimed he carried legally for protection while working for a food delivery service.

Police have claimed the SWAT team identified themselves both before and after entering the apartment, and that Locke was holding a handgun pointed at the officers when he was shot. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
