If you like living among people who figuratively wear tin-foil hats, constantly keep people in a panic and continually contradict themselves, California looks like it might just be the place for you.

This couldn’t have been made up if I tried.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) office sent out a tweet the other day that bears repeating because of how supremely stupid it sounds. Get ready, because in a matter of a few sentences the Office of the Governor of California is going to contradict itself.

Ready? Take a look:

Did you get all that? Spot the contradiction?

In one sentence, Newsom’s office want you to be masked “in between bites” of your food should you go out to dinner with your family. Then in the graphic, just two sentences later, they tell people to “Minimize the number of times you take your mask off.”

Now, I’m no mathematician, but wouldn’t you be taking off your mask a ton if you had to put it back on “in between bites?”

Of course these edicts don’t make sense, but then again, it is California. Just saying.
