CNN has apparently decided that there just isn’t enough evidence that they and other media organizations are actively working to diminish President Trump, so they have helpfully provided more evidence for us.

On Monday, CNN released an article titled “How Long Has It Been Since Donald Trump Attacked Someone On Twitter?” a day after the President received very high praise for his Joint Address to Congress. If that wasn’t enough, the article comes complete with clock counting just how much time has passed since Sunday afternoon.

Yes, that’s right, a live clock actually counting the time since the President of the United States last said something they deem 'mean' on Twitter.

The article itself even admits that Trump won praise for his “measured” speech, highlighting how Trump himself said that “the time for trivial matters has passed.”

This, apparently, was an invitation for the supposedly legitimate an unbiased news network to bring up Trump’s tendency to be very blunt on his Twitter accounts. CNN claims the turn to “mellower rhetoric” is very new for Trump, and provided the mentioned clock as a way to show how long it’s been since he’s “attacked” anyone on Twitter.

The latest “attack” that CNN used as an example was when Trump tweeted “Russia talk is FAKE NEWS put out by the Dems, and played up by the media, in order to mask the big election defeat and the illegal leaks!" on Sunday.

This follows a recent study done by the Media Research Center that found the overwhelming majority of media coverage for President Trump’s first 30 days was hostile: a whopping 88%. It should be noted that that study is only of the “big three” networks which are NBC, ABC, and CBS, so one can only imagine how that number might actually be higher if CNN were included as well.

For a network that continually tries to claim itself as an unbiased news station, this is downright Buzzfeed-level journalism. In other words: pathetic.
