Billionaire SpaceX CEO Elon Musk is hinting at possible action after putting out a public poll on Twitter asking users if they believe the social media site actively supports the principle that free speech is a fundamental part of a free society.

Do you believe Twitter rigorously adheres to this principle?
Musk, who is also the CEO of Tesla, Inc., then followed up the poll with a more cryptic tweet, stating, "The consequences of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully."

Many free speech supporters have long begged Musk to either buy the social media site or start a new one that supports free speech and does not censor stories or opinions the left doesn't like.
Just recently, Twitter suspended - possibly permanently - the 1.3-million-follower account of The Babylon Bee, a satire site, simply for stating that Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine, a biological male, is a man. The site then suspended TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk for stating that Levine had lived the vast majority of his life as a man before "transitioning" to a woman.
In the past, Musk has slammed "wokeness" as "the biggest threat to modern civilization."
