While many refer to June as Pride month, to celebrate the LGBT community, we often forget the true corporate purpose of Pride Month: MONEY. Along with all the parades, festivals and the like, the spirit of of Pride Month is best displayed by the countless companies coming out of the corporate closet to cash in and capitalize.
Don’t you just love it when our favorite authors, artists, and companies preemptively decide to reveal that many of our favorite characters and mascots, whose sexuality we never once cared about or even considered, are now suddenly proud LGBT members this whole time?
So in the spirit of wild speculation and surprising reveals, we compiled a list of things that just may be revealed as LGBT this June, to stunningly and bravely cash in and be trendy.
