As night three of the Republican National Convention (RNC) came to a close, country singer Trace Adkins performed the national anthem Wednesday evening at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Md.
Shortly after President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump came out onto the stage to chants of "four more years," Adkins was introduced to perform the anthem in what Fox News called a "surprise performance."
Adkins sang the anthem in his trademark baritone voice to close out the night after Vice President Mike Pence gave his vice presidential nomination acceptance speech.
