Outspoken, far-left, political comedian Bill Maher will reportedly be visiting President Donald Trump at the White House in the near future.

"[Singer] Kid Rock was here a couple of weeks ago, and he said, ‘I want you to meet Trump.’ He said, 'I'm gonna take you to the White House.' So now we're gonna do that," Maher said Sunday during his “Club Random” podcast.

Maher said he’s compiled a list of insults that Trump has hurled at him, but added that he doesn’t take them personally, writing them off as “performative.” "I don’t care, and he doesn’t care," Maher said.

Maher also dismissed criticism from his fellow liberals, who say he shouldn’t meet with the likes of Trump, by voicing his support for free and open dialogue, even with political opponents.

The comedian said that, when he meets with Trump, he’ll dress more respectfully than did Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a contentious Oval Office meeting with Trump last month.
