Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s claim she referred to wheelchair-bound Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott as “Hot Wheels” - not because he is disabled, but because he removed illegal aliens from his state – is belied by her past Twitter (X.com) activity.

“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there,” Rep. Crockett said, referring to the disabled Republican on Saturday while address a Human Rights Campaign event.

After video of her comment went viral on Tuesday, Crockett issued a statement claiming that she was referring to “the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants” out of his state.

Aside from the fact that neither planes nor trains have “wheels,” Rep. Crockett’s excuse is contradicted by her embrace of the “Hot Wheels” references to the disabled governor going back at least four years.

The Washington Free Beacon has uncovered Crockett cheering the “Hot Wheels” slur of Abbott three times in 2021 – a year before Gov. Abbott announced that he was going to begin removing illegal aliens from Texas:

"‘Hot wheels something else," reads a June 2021 Facebook comment that Crockett ‘liked’ on the platform. The comment was a reply to a Crockett post about Abbott.”

….

“That same month, Crockett reacted with a heart emoji to a comment that said, referring to Abbott, ‘When I say I sick of hot wheels....I am SICK OF HIM.’”

….

“A month later in July 2021, Crockett reacted with a positive emoji to a commenter who urged her to ‘Keep making Gov Hot Wheels Mad.’”
