As Fox News Channel’s Peter Doocy was reporting live from the White House Friday morning, a bird swooped down and landed on his head, prompting Doocy to call on Pres. Trump to take action.

“A bird just landed on my head!” the surprised White House correspondent exclaimed after the bird flew in, perched on his hair, flew away – then took another run at him.

“I did not like that at all,” Doocy reported, after the bird interrupted his discussion of the Trump-renamed “Gulf of America” during Friday’s “Fox and Friends” live broadcast. “That’s probably so dirty,” Doocy added.

Doocy then called for Pres. Trump to take corrective measures to prevent future avian attacks:

“Hey, President Trump, if you’re watching upstairs, we’ve got to do something about these birds. Where’s the Park Service?”

It’s unknown which wing of the White House the president was in at the time, or whether he was, indeed, “upstairs.”

The White House has not released a statement responding to Doocy’s request.

Fox News immediately launched an investigation after the incident, then reported its finding roughly a half-hour later on the show.

“My wife is due with a baby any day; I was expecting a stork, but we have determined it was a dove, so we think it comes in peace,” Doocy said, relaying the investigation’s findings:

“I have been told by my photographer, David Williams, that the bird was sitting on some of the beams that keep the tent together for a couple of minutes. And that he was expecting it to - the morning show friendly term would be ‘leave some droppings’ on me. He did not want to interrupt.

“But, no droppings, which is good. Also, no eggs, which you could argue is kind of a let-down because prices are just a killer.”

“Dove eggs are not that expensive,” Co-Host Brian Kilmeade corrected Doocy.

Doocy said he researched the symbolism of a bird landing on a person’s head, but the results were inconclusive.

It’s not known what motivated the bird to dive bomb Doocy’s head, but re-runs of “Seinfeld” currently being aired include an episode depicting a similar incident.
