El Salvador President Nayib Bukele trolled Democrats Thursday night by posting a photo of Democrat Maryland Sen. Chis Van Hollen “sipping margaritas” with the U.S.-deported MS-13 gang member illegal alien Kilmar Abrego Garcia in a “tropical paradise.”
“Kilmar Abrego Garcia, miraculously risen from the ‘death camps’ & ‘torture’, now sipping margaritas with Sen. Van Hollen in the tropical paradise of El Salvador!” Pres. Bukele wrote in a X.com post including three photos of Van Hollen and Garcia together.
Van Hollen traveled to El Salvador this week to prompt pathos for Garcia as Democrats and liberal media attempt to portray the illegal alien gang member as a victim.
“Now that he’s been confirmed healthy, he gets the honor of staying in El Salvador’s custody,” Bukele wrote, mocking Democrats’ court-upheld demand that the Trump Administration “facilitate” Garcia’s return to the U.S. due to his wrongful deportation.
Bukele then shared multiple comments cheering his snarky remarks and the photos in his post, including one by Florida Voice News Assistant News Director Eric Daugherty, a self-described “Marylander-turned-Floridian” providing a breakdown of the Bukele’s trolling:
“Let me break down the trolling for everyone:
“1. Bukele + Trump admin now prove Kilmar Garcia is bodily fine. Not mistreated.
“2. A sitting Democratic senator is now on camera having margaritas with an illegal alien declared to be a member of MS-13.”
A current Marylander, whose daughter was murdered by a different illegal alien from El Salvador, condemned Van Hollen’s trip Wednesday during a visit to the White House. The New York Post reports:
“The mother of murdered Maryland woman Rachel Morin reduced the White House press corps to stunned silence Wednesday as she slammed her home state Sen. Chris Van Hollen for traveling to El Salvador to try to return a deported alleged MS-13 gang member.”

“Morin said she was outraged that ‘senator from Maryland who didn’t even acknowledge — or barely acknowledged — my daughter and the brutal death that she endured, leaving her five children without a mother’ chose to ‘use my tax money to fly to El Salvador to bring back a person … who isn’t even an American citizen.’”
“Amid the public battle over his case, US Attorney General Pam Bondi released documents Wednesday showing Abrego Garcia was an active MS-13 member in 2019 and held the rank of ‘Chequeo’ and the street name ‘Chele’ within the violent international gang,” The New York Post notes in a separate article.
“Keep trolling @NayibBukele,” former Trump National Security Adviser Gen. Mike Flynn wrote, sharing a post praising Bukele’s comments.
