“Indeed,” Elon Musk declared Sunday, responding to a conservative commentator’s list of 39 “legacy media lies.”
The billionaire X.com owner was reacting to a post by social media influencer Gunther Eagleman asking:
“How Many of These Mainstream Media Lies Did You Fall for?”
Eagleman lists 39 false narratives that have been forcefully and repeatedly pushed on the American public by liberal legacy media. Many of the false claims have been thoroughly debunked by both impartial and conservative media, commentators and fact-checkers – but, some of them partisan media continue to insist are true.
The false claims in the list range from the widely-reported Trump-Russia Collusion and Inflation Act Reduces Inflation narratives, designed to defend the Biden Administration and attack former President Donald Trump, to lesser-known “Trump overfed koi fish in Japan” and “Austere religious scholar” (ISIS terrorist) reports.
