On Monday, a day after a second failed attempt to assassinate Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump, Trump blamed the incendiary rhetoric of Democrats and their sycophant media for inciting the attempts on his life – and “President Trump is right,” iconic conservative commentator Mark Levin says.

"He (the gunman) believed the rhetoric of Biden and Harris, and he acted on it," Trump said in an interview with Fox News Digital:

"Their rhetoric is causing me to be shot at, when I am the one who is going to save the country, and they are the ones that are destroying the country — both from the inside and out."

The fools in the media are inciting the assassination attempts by other fools – dangerous ones, like the shooter – Trump said:

"The media is made up of fools that will spew [Democrats’] garbage and spew their sick philosophies and will protect them at all costs.

"These are the things that dangerous fools, like the shooter, listen to - that is the rhetoric they listen to, and the same with the first one."

“President Trump is right,” Levin agreed in a social media post, reacting to Trump’s Fox News interview.

“How many assassination attempts is it going to take for these ‘journalists’ to stop this hateful rhetoric?” Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell asked Monday in a social media post.

“Trump's would-be assassin used the leftist media's favorite phrase: ‘Democracy is on the ballot’ MRC’s NewsBusters noted Monday in a social media post.

“The media are blaming Donald Trump for his second assassination attempt and taking no responsibility for their own dangerous rhetoric,” NewsBusters added, providing a video montage of liberal media inciting their viewers against Trump.

On MSNBC, Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) even called for Donald Trump to be "eliminated" during an interview last fall, the NewsBusters video shows:

“He is destructive to our democracy and he has to be eliminated.”

Back in April, Trump posted a video montage on his YouTube channel of prominent Democrats appearing to call for violence against him.
