Donald Trump won the presidency in 2024 largely because he “ran in an unconventional media lane” – and he’ll continue to do so once he’s in office, the president-elect’s press secretary promises.

In an interview on Fox News Channel, incoming press secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed Trump’s campaign success to how he utilized members of the New Media to get his message out the American public:

“President Trump ran in an untraditional media lane on the campaign trail – it’s a big part of the reason he won: because he sat down with podcasters and social influencers and new voices that the American people are clearly listening to.”

“We will continue that in the White House,” Leavitt promised:

“We’re going to find new ways to bring those voices into the briefing room, as well, which I think will be a very effective way to continue to the president’s message out to the American people.”

Still, there may be reason to believe that members of the biased, hostile, liberal media are beginning are realizing they need to back off their unreasoning attacks and reassess their view of Trump’s second term as president:

“I do think a lot of members of the legacy media are realizing that. I thought that was evident at the press conference at Mar-a-Lago this past week, where the questions truly were focused on the issues of the day.”

“And, there are a lot of problems plaguing our country and the American people right now,” citing U.S. entanglements in the Ukraine and Middle East wars, inflation and the border crisis:

“And so, I hope that the media will focus on the issues that matter to the American people – the issues that led them to vote in a resounding way for President Trump on November Fifth.”
