In a campaign stop in Ohio for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) wasted no time dialing things right up to 10.
Speaking to a crowd in Youngstown, Ryan said of Clinton’s opponent: “I don’t mean to be graphic, but this guy to our friends in the trades — to our steelworkers who he’s been treating unfairly, very unfairly — he will, he will gut you and he will walk over your cold dead body and he won’t even flinch.”
Yikes.
But the fun didn’t stop there! Ryan went on to say that “He [Trump] will climb over your cold dead body and get on his helicopter, right?”
Just to make sure that people wouldn’t start thinking he was accusing Trump of literally doing these things, Ryan added that he didn’t “mean to be dramatic, but that’s what’s at stake.”
